Date: Sunday, 15 Aug 2010
Venue: Play Nation (Former The HangOut Café)
Time: 1:30pm

[b]Format/ Rules: 4 rounds Swiss Draft

1) Each will open 10 packs of AOP (4xV1, 3xV2, 3xV3) and draft in group of 5.

2) Each player will open an AOP and choose a card, then the rest of the cards are passed to the player on his left until all cards are taken this way, followed by opening another pack of AOP and the process repeats.

3) Additional 30 random cards will be provided to each player.

4) 20 minutes will be given to form a 40-60 card-deck + 15 cards for side deck

5) Players are allowed to fine-tune his deck once before every match using his side deck

6) No exchange of the drafted cards between players allowed during the event.

7) Players are not allowed to use their personal cards

8) Any players found not adhering to the rules will be disqualified

9) Judge decisions are final

10) In cases there are no军令, default 军令will be used.

11) Foil Cards opened cannot be use.

lolx kk. for wat i understand from e card, it only applies when its ur turn as it is (TE XIAO). so only ur turn can use. so when nt ur turn, it does not affect ur oppo. don't see the zero cost den think it applies for both ur turn and nt ur turn. so any deck is still playable. its just how u wan to play it when the card is in field. hope i am right abt tis

anyway kelvin, cant propose don;t table draft? due to some might get good cards from their own booster but due to e drafting, they lose and e cards are to be let others take? and what e more if they lose and get nth? they might feel abit unhappy abt it. jus my opinion

hmmm.... to me, the draft seem quite standard or normal..

if the player open a SR, or good rare, he might juz take the SR, even though there are better cards around.

anyway for me, if i open a good SR(not crap one), i might juz take the SR rather than a good common card. coz i dun have confidence to be in the top 4.

so i rather take some cashback from the SR... hehe..

maybe shd propose if got more players participating, maybe can extend the reward to 5th and 6th placing as consolation prize..

and btw, 8 rare foil seem alot, since 1 place also can get the xian di.

but this reali is good event... juz tat the location abit suck... coz it abit north, i go tat place, need to change 2-3 bus. if can shd make more centralised.

Melvin:
The whole idea of draft is give and take, reward vs risk, rare vs common power and how to select the cards so the person next to you wont have advantage over you later.

This adds to the depth and excitement of the game plus there will be more interaction and not just "I open mine u open yours lets play"

Thats also why the top prize is so much more attractive

We will stick to one boaster / round as many players may be new to draft especially in GO so give 2 pack to open i will see players taking even more time to complete a pass.

As for location, we need to let the players expose to the other partners we have and help them promote sales since they are providing the venue for us. Its a give and take game.

We will see other locations in the near future
Singapore still quite small, some more i've drawn a map for you so its not so hard right
