Damn.. i cant remember half of ur guy's nick here....
Anyway the reason why there wasnt a room on friday was that the CC doesnt allow rooms to operate until so late last time. Our event was at 8pm(iirc) and by then the CC close liao... so we all just sit outside those benches there.
Unless its a afternoon or morning timing it would be hard to get a room.
Im too long away to know what is happen though.. haha... how are you guys?!

latest update .... still same news as what Leon posted above. The CC might be able to assist if event timings are in the weekend afternoons - similar to King's event @ Simei. Other than that it's gonna be unlikely.
Alternatively, fast food restaurant in the area sounds feasible? Any convenient and TCG-friendly BK, McD etc?
I'm able to support the event definitely with BG kits and stuff but need someone to step up and be a TO. Unfortunately as a TO, you cannot play at your events and most importantly, need to be run the event on a consistent basis. eg events don't only happen when you're in the mood.
Any volunteers? If yes, drop me a PM here or @ PCG forums

The fast food restaurents are inside Compass Point shopping complex hence they will usually tag along to the same timing of the complex which is at 10pm or 10.30pm. Only Macdonald seems to defer from this but I cant say for sure.
Starbucks has some seats outside the shopping complex (still under shelter) which I dont believe they keep after their closure. Crowd there usually arent that huge so if anybody is interested talking to the manager of starbucks might be a start.
Otherwise your might want to do a site survey of the area for a feasible playing area. Hopefully they actually built something new(and useful) in which im unaware of.

Fastfood restaurants are PACKED in this particular mall. . .heck even sakae sushi needs a 30mins queue sometimes. . .imo anything inside compasspoint is outta the question but we can try the Anchorvale CC/sports complex/mcdonalds?

Packed isnt really the issue here. If your want night time its usually 8pm. 2 hours might be abit tight to hold anything and for people to do playtest after event. Nonetheless you brought up a good point.
Anchorvale CC have a macdonald. According to macdonald website it isnt 24 hours but i remember going quite late and its still open. But point to note is there alot of "unfriendly teens" loiter around that area at night time. Also there isnt any bus stop infront. The nearest has only 1 service which is 372 and is a walkable distance away.

That is the whole reason lol. . .this teens does not have a purpose so they loiter. . .if we manage to cleanse their unfriendliness with our awesome wow tcg. . .we may have new players lol. .
